In one day – and I think I heard the man say it was July Fourth – in this Strong-Shouldered City eight people died by gunfire and 100 were injured/shot. Was the Carl Sandburg reference enough of a clue? In which city did that occur?
According to onetime Midwest denizen and lawyer and now radio talkshow host Larry Elder, 700 people died violently in Chicago last year (and by violently I presume he meant gunfire) and he continued to opine that we are on course to meet or exceed that number THIS year as well.
Barry and Rahm: this is not ALL of your doing, but you sure did add to the carnage by your policies or lack thereof.
